One Day at a Time

Oh I hate it when I lose a post! And the thing of it is, I've been copying my text every single post before I publish it. Not this time... no. I forgot to copy it. I push publish and what happens? I lose the entire post! How frustrating is that!

 Okay so what was I saying? Hmmm....

I managed a quick trip to the grocery store today. My family ought to be happy. Our pantry was looking pretty bare the last couple days. We picked T- up from school. He brought home a project he has been working on. While I was there, we picked up a couple more flats of flowers. My goodness, they are gorgeous. Pink and purple petunias, impatiens, and a few basket fillers. Simply beautiful.

We were at the hospital a couple times today. Uncle is doing much better. He was sitting up in bed, he ate a little bit of his lunch. He was feeling well enough to be encouraging his visitors to 'live the faith' as we've been taught. They released him to go home this evening. My mom and aunt followed the amublance home. In home hospice care has been all arranged for him. Hubby and I didn't go to the house with them, we came on home.

I talked to Susan today. She is a little disapointed, they have put her surgery off for a couple weeks. At least she is feeling okay. I was so happy to hear her voice again. She sent me a really funny birthday card (yeah, I might have forgotten to mention my birthday a couple weeks ago or so). I'm going to have to scan the card and I'll post it to the photo blog at a later date.

Our step grandson is on the all star baseball team. We are headed out the door to another game. I seriously can't wait until the season is over. It's fun, but enough is enough of anything lol At least we get to play with the baby again tonight. I always look forward to my time with the grandbaby!

Oh and one more blessing.... Chris and his friend Jeremy were in an accident yesterday. They are fine! Chris assured me he's perfectly fine, not a bump or bruise. They were driving about 65 MPH, hydroplaned (spelling?), spun round and round on the highway. Hit the center barrier wire and crashed the truck but they are both fine.

I feel like I am so blessed... Â
