This afternoon we headed into town with my daughter (Mrs C) and her littlest one (Mister T).
Mister T starts out by saying "Grandma" and I answered, then he says "Great Grandma". As soon as he had my mom's attention he starts telling a story. Pretty soon his mom said something to him. He says "I'm not talking to you, I'm talking to Great Grandma" and he continues to tell his story.
Mrs C let us know he was retelling the story of How To Train Your Dragon. His story was pretty detailed, and it lasted nearly the entire ride into town. He finished his story and just a moment later he was sound asleep. We all laughed a little about how much the little guy chattered, as he was trying to stay awake.
I commented how he was going to have nightmares after telling the story he just told us.
With Mister T sound asleep, we decided to leave him in the car sleeping with Great Grandma. When his mommy and I got back to the car, the little man was sound asleep in Great Grandma's lap.
Sure enough... he ended up having a nightmare during his nap in the car. It was sweet to see him all snuggled up, safe and cozy in his Great Grandma's arms.
