Friday Chat

Well, it has been awhile since I had a Friday chat here on my blog. I'm hoping to get back into the habit. I wake up each morning to "Good morning, Grandma!" and that alone is worth chatting about!

Last Saturday we drove down to Sea-Tac and picked up our daughter, Mrs.C, and her two littles... Miss B and Mister T. We also picked up 6 bags. Yep, that's right. I said six bags. The Mrs.C and littles will be here awhile. Next Friday we'll head back down to Sea-Tac and pick up Mr.C, and at least one more bag. He'll be here at least a couple weeks. Hopefully longer. Time will tell.

The week started out interesting enough... The littles are morning people. They are normally up bright and early at 6:00AM Midwest time, and here we are in pacific coast time. Last weekend we set the clocks back an hour for daylight savings time. It turned out to be a very early morning around here Sunday morning. Well, you do the math...

We aren't letting the kids play outside alone... between the bears and cougars sighted in the area it's just not safe. We took them down to our local Burger King on this rainy day so they could play on the toys. Round and round... so much energy to burn! Before BK we went to Michael's and picked up some fun kid craft projects for the kids to work on during this rainy spell. I imagine there is going to be a lot of painting, gluing, glittering and baking happening around the dining table in the next couple of weeks.

I love having the family home.... I feel like my home is overflowing... not only with people, but with joy, love and lots of little people giggles.
