A few years ago, little Webster was out in his back yard, minding his own business. Along comes a coyote, nabs Webster by the nap of his neck and the race was on. My cousin, Kevin, was running and screaming and the coyote was running and shaking Webster as hard as he could. The coyote gave up and let Webster go. Poor little dog was scared half to death, but he was okay.
So a short time later Kevin had the little guy out in the back yard again, but this time he was on a leash. It's a good thing he was on a leash because down swooped an Eagle.... grabbed Webster in his claws and tried to fly off with the little dog. Kevin was hanging on for all he was worth. You can imagine there was some screaming and major commotion during the whole incident.
I remember the next few times I saw Webster, he was sitting on Kevin's lap, trembling from head to toe the entire time.

Shortly after I took these photos of Kevin (my cousin - not my hubby) at work, he was in a serious accident. That machine slid down a hill with him inside.  He was hurt pretty bad and was bedfast for awhile. Webster was his constant companion... always at his side. That little dog will be missed.

Awww... So sad. I'm glad that Kevin is better now. At least poor little Webster doesn't have to suffer always being carried off by bigger animals, huh?
As long as I'm on here, I've set my blog to private. Since I don't know you in person, I don't really know who I could have you get ahold of to get my e-mail address without jeopardizing my privacy by putting it out on the i-net. Any ideas?
LOL Well, you can email me poems at lilbitgabby dot com and I'll get it. You know to switch out the at and dot, right.
Oh, well it wasn't you, it was your sister. I just sent her an email from my actual email address. You can ask her for my email address. I'm glad you aren't posting your email address in public. I get so much spam in my posted email addresses, it's unbelievable.
So sad, and yet like my sister said at least he did not have to almost be animal food any more.
