Annoying Little Bug

We've been having issues with a fruit fly. As you know, there is never just one fruit fly. I've cleaned and cleaned and yet, there they are. Buzzing around the kitchen. Dead on the counter around the sink. YUK.

It's a constant battle of spraying the fruit flies and wiping up every few minutes.

We took the bananas out of the house. The fruit is all in the fridge. Where could they be breeding?

So yesterday, I was sorting some of my FIL's stuff. I took down some of the empty apple boxes we have stacked in the dining room. As I was taking out the packing, there it was... a dead apple. Home to the fruit flies.
