I stopped by the church yesterday afternoon to say hello to the mother of the bride, Rhonda. I don't know her daughter, but Rhonda was a dear friend when we were teenagers. Awww... the memories are good! I can't believe I had not seen her in over 20 years. I didn't stick around long, they were really busy, and I didn't want to be in the way.
The church was decorated so beautifully. It wasn't completely decorated when I stopped in, but what was decorated at that time was really pretty. There was a little bit of chaos, what is a wedding without some chaos? it reminded me of the hours before Andrea's rehearsal dinner. Oh wow, I was feeling frazzled that night.Â
So today was the big day. I picked my aunt up at 9:00 this morning. The guys were hard at work, roofing her house. We picked up my mom, then hit the road. It took about an hour to get to the wedding down south. It was at the Victorian Gardens Bed and Breakfast. It was so pretty and romantic. The reception area was like a big garden party. Erielle was radient. She was so happy she was glowing.  We had a great time, the DJ had a real sense of humor! Good food, good company... and a little romance. It all makes for a beautiful day! Oh, and the rain! It managed to stay perfectly comfortable and dry until just before we left.
The drive home was another story. We were in stopped traffic on 167.... then we crawled our way from 212th st up to Renton. 405 wasn't much better.  It took us over 2 1/2 hours to get home! Ya gotta love Seattle traffic.
As I was driving into town, Kevin was leaving the wedding here at the church. Perfect timing, I'd say.
Oh, I'm telling ya, these weddings brought back happy memories of Andrea's wedding. Here are some photos I took of Andrea's wedding. I don't have any of the real wedding photos online... Rama was the photographer and her photos are gorgeous.

Sounds like Loren and Suzies wedding was a success anyway. Glad that you had a good time. Nice that you finished up at the same time!
I'm glad it didn't rain until after the wedding. That could have been a disaster! Then again, true love can endure anything, huh! By the way, I am going to switch from "Sabriena" to my alias (my blog name) "Neena".
I remember Andrea's wedding. It was beautiful! That Seattle traffic sounded like a NIGHTMARE! ugh!
Gale, I think it was a success! They stopped back by the church late Sunday afternoon, they look so happily married.
Neena, it's always fun to remember back to the little things that go wrong at a wedding. A little sprinkling of rain on the wedding wasn't too bad... just enough to bring everyone together under the tents.
Trina, thank you! I remember you having a brand new baby at the wedding... how time passes by so swiftly! I'd like to forget the Seattle traffic lol it really is a nightmare!
