What a month it's been! We are all moved into our new home. LOL! Well... we are moved in. We are not all un-packed. But we have unpacked most of what we need. It's been quite an experience.
The last time we moved it took us a few hours from the time we thought about it, until the stuff was moved into the new house. The 2009 move was a huge process.... I'm still trying to figure out where things go and if I really want this or that. Sorting and flinging.... and it feels good to fling it!
The kids all came home for Taylor's graduation. We had BBQs and parties for a week long celebration of family. It was wonderful having all my kids home. The kids all played frisbee, soccer, and football in our yard. The guys sat around our porch with Bibles open having discussions, and everyone pitched in when it came time to eat.
It was funny... we don't usually have more than a bowl of oatmeal and a fruit for breakfast, but the boys all got together and cooked big breakfast meals every morning.
The grand babies are growing up. I loved waking up to baby hugs and giggles each morning. One of the babies learned to walk in our front lawn just over a week ago. Now she's walking all over the place.
Graduation was really nice. Taylor earned an honor cord... top 1% of his class of 374 graduating students.
Taylor went back to the Midwest with Andrea and Mitch. I'm not sure when he will be coming home... just so long as he's home in time for fall classes. Waking up to an empty house on Monday was exceptionally hard. I cried for a minute... then decided to get out and do something. So mom and I went shopping and bought more flowers.
Well... my time here at the library is about up. I thought I'd be here every few days, but right now, I'm really enjoying the lack of tv and internet. So it may be awhile before I log on again. We did change our cell service so I now have some contact with the outside world. We are considering internet this fall... we'll see.
