Thankful

Well, Wednesday I woke up bright and early... like 4:30ish. Got around and was taking care of some things on my mile long to-do list. I was feeling really good. Next thing I knew, I felt a little strange... I knew I wasn't well. I got up stairs, called to the boys, and then the chest pains hit.

I'm doing much better today. I have a lot to be thankful for... another lease on life.

I have been enjoying the snow. Oh wow, we should be careful what we wish for. I was hoping for a lot of snow and I got what I wished for and then some. We have over a foot of snow. It's beautiful. Our car is snowed in, even as I type this. Kevin and Drew have missed work this week, and T-man is on a very long Christmas break.

I realize the things on my to-do list probably won't get done, considering my health. But my boys have stepped up and done quite a bit to help me out. Due to my heart problems, they learned to cook and clean when they were just little boys.

I had my Christmas cards all made out, but they didn't get mailed, because I didn't even think to have anyone take them into town. Brandon's stocking stuffers didn't get mailed, but Andrea is helping me out of that one. At least we got the kids Christmas packages shipped off in time. I won't be baking and making candies like usual, and I'm not even going to worry about any of it.

I'm off to rest...

I wish you all a Merry Christmas!

I hope you get to feeling better. What a horrible time to get laid up. We'll be praying for you. It's so nice to have a good family that will help you out.

I don't think we were notified, but I'm so glad that God kept you safe. The snow really is great, even if it causes some problems. It's kind of like Jesus said about how we'd always have the poor with us, but Him we wouldn't (well, the disciples). The work will always await us (Lord willing), but the snow only happens about every 20 years, right?!!

Thank you all for the prayers... much needed, but I'm feeling a whole lot better. God really has shown me a lot of mercy.
