Saturday Kevin and I were going out for the day and taking Miss B with us. I was packing her diaper bag and gathering a few necessities for a happy toddler. I let her choose her shoes, and I gave her a choice of blankets... she chose her favorite pink blanket.
Then I picked up her favorite baby dolls. I asked her which baby did she want to take with us. She did a double take of the dolls I had in my arms. Shook her head and says no and rambles off something in toddler speak... I didn't understand. But she ran into her mommy's bedroom, where baby brother was laying on the bed. She started to gather him up, making it clear to grandma what baby doll she was taking with her. It was way too cute!
We ended up taking her turtle and leaving baby brother with mommy and daddy.

What a beautiful baby! He is so sqeezably fat! That is beyond cute that she wanted to take baby brother. You will have to remind her of that when they are around 8-10 and in constant warfare. Kids are such a miracle.
That is so cute. When you said she did a double take and started jabbering, I had my suspicions. How sweet to see that they were confirmed. Uh... I can't see a better way to say it, but I think I'll explain what I said, just in case. The reason it was sweet that they were confirmed is because it was a sweet thing, NOT because it is sweet to be right (even though it is, that isn't what I meant! LOL).
I think it's worth remembering so I can remind her later on in life too!
Neena, I think I think like you... I understood what you meant LOL
