Playing Catch-Up.... Again

OOPS... as I laugh at myself. I thought I posted this a day or so ago.

Oh wow, I can't believe how long it's been since I really posted anything going on in our lives. We've been busy to say the least.

I'm getting ready to leave my family for a few weeks, while I go back to be with Andrea when she has the baby. I talked to Susan yesterday. I'm pretty excited to spend some time with her. It's been almost two years since I last saw her, so I'm really looking forward to some good old fashioned fun with my best friend!

I've been filling our freezer with home cooked meals. The meals can easily be microwaved. I hope it's a good alternative to me being here. I better log off here... I'm preparing chicken pot pies. One for one dinner and one for the freezer. I haven't ever frozen a chicken pot pie, so I hope this works out.

And here's an update to my update post...

I'm sitting here in my living room looking at my bags, packed and zipped up. So much to do... I'm ready to go, but I'm not ready to go.

Last night we ran over to the kids house, so I could say goodbye. The babies are so adorable. Mister Man was busy playing with a mylar balloon and wearing his Elmo slippers. It's so funny, he's into slippers now days, so every time I see him, he's wearing slippers and has to show them to me. Too cute.

The little guy was sitting on my lap. I brought the balloon down closer to his height. He got all excited with it, using it as a punching ball that springs back. He finally just caught it up and was going to bite it. His mom and dad yelled and he let it go. He grabbed my hand and was going to bite me! I was shocked, to say the least. I guess he bit his mommy on the rump yesterday. It's been so many years since I had a kid that bit, I have no idea what to do about it. Oh the joys of raising little ones.

Baby girl is adorable. She's growing up so fast... all smiles and good natured. I'm going to miss these little people while I'm gone.
