Celebrations, Reunions, And A Baptism

This past weekend, friends and family gathered together to celebrate a 50th and a 25th wedding anniversary.

It was a beautiful weekend with an amazing ending. Brandon called just before Sunday's meeting here on the west coast. He was baptized Sunday evening. We couldn't be there in person, but our meeting was beautiful and so comforting.

Celebrations of life long marriages... a wonderful weekend away with friends and family... and our sixth child baptized into this wonderful faith... life is good!

Well, hopefully you will get to enjoy 28 more years together, although in another house. That is SO wonderful about Brandon getting baptized. I was hoping that when I got back from camping and read blogs, that somebody would have been baptized. So great! I actually kind of thought that somebody from our assembly would probably get baptized while we were gone, but apparently not. A little longer, a little longer.

Teresa and I were rejoicing when we heard the news Sunday that Brandon was getting baptized. Congradulations to you and Kevin. You have done a wonderful job raising your children. I love them all and appreciate their love very much. Tell Kevin I said hello. Come see us when you are out here again.

How are things going with the move? Lost internet service, or just too busy for it? Hope to hear from you soon.

Oh hey... I'm here. Can we say busy... I'm talking super duper busy as in spelled out with capital letters. Here it is after midnight and I'm taking a break... but too tired to write at the moment. I'll see about posting in the next day or so. Thanks for checking in on me. You are a sweetie!
