The boys headed off to camp yesterday afternoon, so Kevin and I are home alone. I knew this was going to be a lazy weekend, but I had no idea just how lazy. We slept soundly until after 9:00 this morning!
I think I'm headed off to the cemetary with my mom and aunts. They want to put flowers on a few of the family member's graves so they will be pretty on Monday for the Memorial day ceremony. I'm not sure who provides the flags, but Monday morning the cemetary will have little flags on each of the graves of service men and women. Â
Kevin doesn't go to the cemetary, so this is something I do with my mom and aunts. It's not my favorite thing to do, but if I'm not off at church camp, I go along with them anyway.
Other than that, I guess we are having a bbq and that's about it. LOL Sounds like fun now, doesn't it.

Hope the campout goes good. I love the little mop! I like to go to the cemetery when I am totally alone. Late at night so I can think, when I need to gain courage in this life.
I like to walk through cemeteries. It feels so reverent, quiet, a good time to think, as Mom said. It's also neat to look at some of the grave stones with their little carvings, interesting shapes, etc. It feels kind of strange saying that, but it is true, for me. Hope it's not disrespectful. Hope you had a good day.
The boys had a good time at the camp out.
Walking around the cemetary is a good time to reflect on life. Kevin and I walked around our local cemetary a few months ago. We came across a little family plot. Mom, Dad, and two little girls all in a family plot. They all passed in the same year/month, about a hundred years ago. As we walked around that area of the cemetary, we saw quite a few very young to old people died in that month... There must have been some sort of illness went through the county that year. It was very sobering to think about losing entire families at once.
