Ready for Easter?

I'm not. I'm not going to get ready for Easter this year.  Mom and I are still fighting off this flu bug. At least my headache is gone. I think I mentioned we moved Mom into Brandon's empty bedroom last Saturday evening. Right now we are watching the Ten Commandments. It's on so late this year, I might not stay up for the next 45 minutes... why couldn't they put it on earlier in the day.

Brandon made it to Andrea's last night. He called me pretty late to let me know he was there.

T-man just got back from the track meet in Yakima. It sounds like he had fun. And best of all he PRd!

Well, it's late, and I think I'm giving up on this movie. We have the video around here somewhere.... and if I can't find it, it's not like I don't know how it ends.

Happy Easter!

Yeah T-Man! Those PRs sure can lift the spirits!

I HATE track meets! They last forever. I loved them as a kid, but now.... Oh, boy could I just be a meanie head and tell them NO!?!??! Not only do they take forever, but my kids always end up in one of the 1st races, and then you guessed it, one of the last. So, we have to stay for the whole thing. I always hated it when Chris ran and every year when he went to state, we had to pay $9 ea 2 days in a row to sit in the sun and be bored! Uhg! What we do for these guys! LOL

Now Brandon is the only one running, but the races he runs are spread out alot, so we will have to be there most of the time.

LOL! OH Connie.... yeah. Well, T-man doesn't even run. He throws. Have you ever been to a track meet where you can see the throwers without binoculars? Some of the schools have the throwers clear out away from the track... across the parking lot... across the baseball field. Blah. Can parents go over to the throwers? Not usually. LOL But there we are, up in the stands, waving to my kiddo across the field, so he knows we are there. Watching and pretending to know how well he's doing. Oh the joys of having an athlete. I've always said I earned every one of my kids letterman jackets, so when I go to the grocery store they best be wearing that thing into the store with me... my trophy for sitting in the sunshine during a long boring track season.
