Wrapping Up September

My life is flying by... one day at a time.

  • School got off to a great start. T-man ended his Sophomore school year with a nearly 4 point AGPA. He definately takes after his dad. I don't know how Kevin managed a 4pt GPA through HS and college. I struggled to be honor roll. LOL Some things make ya go hmmmm. This is one of them. For some reason T-man brought home a C in math. Math was his strong point all through school, so I have no idea what happened this past spring. Anyway.... This year he's in a robotics & computer programming class. He's loving it and we are pretty excited for him. He's a junior in HS and when he graduates HS he should have over 50 college credits. I think that's pretty cool.

  • Mitch and Andrea purchased their tickets to come home for the holidays! We are pretty excited about that. We are waiting.... waiting.... waiting.... to hear if Chris & Jennifer will be coming home for the holidays too.

  • We finally got around to staining our decks. Then it rained. Big surprise huh? Yeah, I thought so too. *note the sarcasm* It rained... and rained.... and rained some more. Our decks were stripped bare. Right down to the wood. Finally we had a few days without rain, so Kevin came home from the office early, and spent his day staining decks again. It was suppose to rain the following day, but it didn't! I have no idea why we didn't make time in the spring to stain the decks. We are such good home owners.

Hmmm... as I sit here writing, I realize there wasn't much I needed to write about anyway.

I know, I spent most of the month of September in blog hiding. I really didn't feel much like blogging or reading blogs. Well, I have to say this, it was such a sad month and I didn't want to go there in blog world. There is nothing like losing a little one to make you think about what our life on earth is all about.

I agree about losing the little one. When we lost Seth it took so long to feel like doing anything frivolous. Really reminds us how thin the line is between here and eternity. Hope everyone is healing well, time helps.
