Friday night three of our step-grandkids spent the night with us. We didn't do anything big, just pizza and a movie on Friday. We did get to play with the baby for a little while when the kids were dropped off.
Saturday we were up and out the door early for a big day ahead. It was the annual Spring Fling at Husky Stadium. First we took the kids to the crew races. What excitement as the #1 ranked UW team went up against the #2 ranked Cal team. The Montlake Cut was lined with Husky fans! What a great start to the day!
After the races we went up to the stadium for the Husky Football Experience. The boys received a free t-shirt and lunch. The boys tested their football skills... running, field goal attempt, throwing, tackling, etc...  what fun! We took hundreds of photos and the players signed autographs. We watched the spring football game between the purple and gold. The older kids went to the volleyball scrimmage and we all enjoyed the softball game between the ducks and husky girls. One of our boys bought a chair at the spring fling sale  and we made good use of it at our little tailgate picnic.
At the end of the day we were exhausted. I was in bed and asleep shortly after 9:00 on a Saturday night!
