Nearly Perfect Spring Day

Today was an absolutely beautiful day here in the greater Seattle area. We enjoyed sunshine on our faces as the family and a couple friends got out for a fun game of softball.

Jim is doing better today and things are looking up. At least that was the last word I heard.

Dear hubby and I took a short drive. Oh lands! The price of gas is over $3.14 a gallon today! So we kept the drive to a minimum.  The boys on the other hand... they drove up to Mt. Vernon - Burlington. Not to see the tulips or enjoy the festivities of the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival. No... they went just to get Krispy-Kreme doughnuts. Okay I am hoping they didn't bring back an extra dozen. I'm still wishing we had not bought dozens of fundraiser cookies awhile back. They are still in the freezer and oh what a temptation they happen to be! We don't need any extra donuts in the house tonight.

Oh joy! Pizza is on the menu for our late-late dinner. I'm off...
