Hello! I know, It's been some time since I sat down and really chatted with you. We've been so busy I didn't know if I was coming or going.
Just over a week ago the kids (oldest married son, DIL, and baby grandson) were dropped off at SeaTac and they flew off to the midwest. It was gorgeous sunshine - high 70's here - I'm telling ya, that's nice mid-summer weather for Seattle! They flew straight into a snow storm LOL! It snowed out there just about every day they were gone.
Their kids were on spring break. The girls were in Oregon and we had the boys. It was fun for me. I forgot how busy I was when my boys were nine and eleven. We stayed at their house because it was just easier since they have a couple of dogs and we don't really want dogs in our house anymore. Oh my gosh! I'm so glad to be back home in my own bed!
Our boys went to Oregon for a long weekend. Our youngest is on spring break this week. He's done quite a bit of traveling during the week. Now we are about to settle into a relaxing weekend near home. Not at home... just near.
Did I mention my dryer went out a couple weeks ago. Oh gosh! The replacement part came on Monday and the repairman came to fix it on Thursday. What a relief! Did you know the laundry mats don't appreciate you washing clothes at home then hauling clean clothes to be dried in their dryers? Oh yeah. Not allowed. Good thing I had many of our friends and relatives offer to let us use their dryers. Thank you very much! Hanging clothes in all the showers here at home worked out okay, but the use of your laundry room was so much nicer!
Yesterday I managed to spend a wonderful day up at the tulip fields with one of my aunts and my mom. It was a nice day and not too cold when the sun wasn't hiding behind clouds. At least we didn't get rained on this year! I have gorgeous photos. I'll share a few later...
For now I'm off to snuggle my little grandson.... Â
