My Friday Chat... Running Late

I know, it's almost not Friday. It's been just a lilbit hectic around here tonight. Nothing in particular out of the ordinary but I didn't deal well with my schedule today.

Usually we go snuggle our grandson Friday evening. I didn't feel well today. I'm not coming down with the flu again. Just because dear hubby's receptionist has had it three times this winter doesn't mean I am getting sick again. Just in case, we didn't go visit the grand baby.

I am missing my grand baby in the midwest. Not just the grand baby.... the grand babies mommy. We were planning on making the trip out to visit in June. Now it is looking like we aren't going to make it. Funds are lower than we expected right now. On top of that our property taxes went up a few hundred dollars again.

It just seems like one thing and then another on top of it. I know not to say what more can happen. Ha. I also know things can start looking up any day. I'm planning on something good happening.... quietly knowing I am going to make that trip to see my little girl this summer. 

For now I'll be thankful we have webcams, email, blogs, and free long distance calling.
