Kaboom and It's Gone

So this past year I spent a couple months in the midwest. My family was home for the most part... boys and men. I should have hired a maid while I was gone but I didn't. A couple of my cousins are lucky enough to have maids come in and clean their homes. Well, with seven bathrooms I'd probably hire a maid too.

I always figure I am a stay at home mom. I can keep things clean. Well... not when I'm out of town for 4 months of the year. What was I thinking? The guys would do it. Yeah. That is exactly what I was thinking.

Long story short. My main guy works in an office with an occasional trip out to a job site. Definately not a dirty job. One of the guys works in a shop... he gets a lilbit dirty every day. The youngest guy is in school. No real dirt there. However, one of my guys was building a new home. Not too dirty a job... till it came time to pour the concrete driveway.

Well, when I got home from my trip to the midwest the shower downstairs was a faded shade of gray with a few streaks of white showing through. The guys hung up one of those scrubbing bubbles shower sprayer thingies when I was gone.

Oh I tell ya, this has been my cleaning nightmare. I scrubbed at this daily. I tried all sorts of products on the shower walls. Finally last week I bought a spray bottle of Kaboom shower tub and tile cleaner. I sprayed... waited a couple minutes. Scrubbed... CLEAN! Oh wow! My shower is clean and sparkling once again.

I'm a happy homemaker!
