Can You Keep A Secret?

I'm not known for keeping secrets or pulling off surprises very well. And I absolutely hate being surprised. I don't want a surprise party of any sort and I don't want my kids to show up on my door step unannounced. I love the thrill of knowing when my kids are coming home. The anticipation of it all is one of my biggest thrills. I think I made that perfectly clear to my kids the last time they came home and surprised me.

A couple weeks ago Andi calls me and asks if I can keep a huge secret from Dad and the rest of the kids. I told her I would try. Well I did it! Her little family flew home for a long weekend! I'm so excited to have them all three home. They are visiting with friends for a couple hours... you think I'd be on the computer if they were in my living room? Not a chance!

There isn't anything quite as wonderful as having my married kids and grand baby home.
